We are a Chicago-based band dedicated to writing finely honed songs and marrying them to music that rocks. Our lo-fi tunes tell stories – about leaving Chicago and wanting to come back, about getting dumped, about grandfathers.

The Debauchers have brought their no-holds-barred live show to venues throughout the Midwest. As Milwaukee’s weekly arts paper, the Shepherd-Express, says: “[The Debauchers are] revisiting an era of punk where ethical meant breaking rules (and a few guitars on stage). With an emphasis on lo-fi and the occasional slide guitar thrown in, the Debauchers throw a lifeline to the half-drowned punk rock scene.”

What do we sound like? Imagine yourself at a jam session with the MC5, Fountains of Wayne and the Velvet Underground. Then Nick Cave walks through the door.
